Traces of Chiseled Bluestone: Perseverance in Action—Party Members and Cadres of Lianke Technology Visit the Tangshuiya Red Education Base

On the morning of July 1, Lianke Technology organized its Party members and cadres to visit the Tangshuiya Red Education Base, where they embarked on a “walking Party lesson” to trace the footsteps of revolutionary history. Through this spiritual journey, they reaffirmed their original aspirations and mission, paying tribute to the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.
At the Tangshuiya Reservoir Exhibition Hall, vintage tools such as steel picks, hammers, and shoulder pads, alongside yellowed photographs and documentary footage, vividly bring to life the arduous years from 1973 to 1979—when six thousand builders, with hemp ropes tied around their waists, braved sheer cliffs and carried loads on their shoulders and in their hands, battling raging currents. Party members and cadres paused to listen, deeply appreciating the Tangshuiya spirit of self-reliance, hard work, selfless dedication, and united determination, as embodied in the resolute oath: “We shall not return until this dam is completed.” Before this red monument, they drew strength to forge ahead.
Stepping out of the exhibition hall, visitors ascended to the Tangshuiya Dam, where they could experience firsthand the majestic grandeur of this “Asia’s largest masonry-arch dam.” The awe-inspiring scene vividly reenacts the arduous efforts of earlier generations—building the dam with nothing but their bare hands and overcoming countless challenges—immersing each visitor in the noble spirit of those pioneering builders who braved hardship and devoted themselves selflessly. From this, they draw an immense source of strength to confront difficulties head-on and to work tirelessly with dedication and pragmatism.
This immersive visit was a profound dialogue with history. Party members and cadres unanimously expressed their determination to carry the spirit of self-reliance and hard work back to the front lines of production and management, demonstrating concrete actions in serving the country through industry and paying the deepest respects on the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.
